In a recent blog article, Fred Jacobs of Jacobs Media describes Facebook’s strategy as being your Landlord, and you as the tenant are essentially building their business by happily handing over your relationships to Mark Zuckerberg. I couldn’t agree more, and Fred explains it very well here.

Topics that should light up the phones don’t. Mondays are just…MONDAYS. Here’s why Monday morning shows are different and what you can do to fix it.
Where The Fish Are
Starbucks understands the value of recycling their audience by creating an incentive. Radio stations should do the same, through promotion and teasing content, which is one of the most important skills air talent should master. I think many personalities fail to appreciate how difficult it is to cause the audience to respond. It’s hard work. They aren’t hanging on every word, or even paying all that much attention to you.
