Crafting Content to Fit Your Personality
It’s not enough to have great material if it isn’t consistent with your brand, image and personality. It doesn’t matter how funny it is, or how provocative. It first has to fit. That starts with the creative process, but personalities often don’t develop content with a sense of how it impacts brand development.
Two new audio examples that demonstrate how to do it have been added here. The examples are both prank phone calls, but with different treatments that support the show’s personality.
The first track is Elvis Duran’s famous “phone taps”. The segment has become one of the things Elvis is best known for. The second track is a similar feature on C100/Halifax. That show is not as edgy. Listen to how they have listeners prank each other, resulting in similar entertainment value but a much different reflection on the air talent.
